    Update on my rifle

A few months ago I had posted that I was having a couple of issues with my rifle. The precision was not living up to my expectations. A couple of weeks ago I bedded the gas block. That seems to have resolved the issue. My latest round of load development with AR Comp and 123 amax gave me 1 moa or better groups across all loads. 28.3 grains gave me tight groups at 2590 fps with a sd of 5.

Took it out today to tickle some steel. Here's a 5 shot string on a 600 yard target:

Good info thanks for posting, always cool seeing plate swing and the delay to hear the impact!

There is just something about hitting steel that is so satisfying

Next time I plan to stretch it out to 1000.

Fun isn't it. If that was a .223, you wouldn't see the plate move that much at all.
