    19.5 Grendel Entry.

    pix189726396.jpg

Hi guys, hope the attachment works and you are able to see it clearly. As you (I hope) can see it is a photo a 19.5 Entry upper from AA. What I was hoping someone could tell was would any of you good folks know what the threading size on the barrel is.

I've tried asking AA and I know they are busy people, I've also looked around the net but can't seem to find what I want to know.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Klem and thanks for the quick reply buddy. I did look at that earlier but at the time it didn't make much sense to me However on taking another look at it and if I'm reading it correctly the threading on the 19.5 Entry is 3/4x28tpi, I have I got that right.

      Thanks

nimitzman. I have no idea when they changed it buddy. Alexander Arms eventually emailed me back and right enough the thread on the rifle is 3/4x28. I have to say that given what I wanted to do it would mean changing the barrell out which I am loathed to do because as it is at the moment, the rifle groups really tight at 200 yards I can put them through the more or less same hole on the target.

If the threading is a problem I wouldn't stress, just have a gunsmith cut the barrel back and re-thread to whatever pitch of your liking.
