Where's the Kel-Tec RDB-C 6.5mm Grendel?

Same. It's a shame because I love the rdb-c concept. Hopefully other manufacturers make something similar AND in Grendel. It's streamlined like a bolt gun, long barrel with a short oal, and lightweight. I can't think of a better setup for hiking based hog hunts.Originally posted by StoneHendge View PostNo loss. I'd buy a used Yugo before I bought another Kel-Tec product.

I've always bee interested in bullpups, but never had a chance to handle one. Until last weekend, when one of my range buddies brought out his Desert Tech SRS in 6.5 Creedmoor. I couldn't believe it had a 26" barrel! It wasn't light, but the weight was distributed so close to my body that it handled like a dream.
Needless to say, I'm sold on the bullpup configuration, and the RDB-C looks like a great concept. If Ruger or another quality (but still budget-friendly) manufacturer can figure out a way to make an affordable bullpup Grendel bolt-action or semi-auto (is lever-action possible?!
) with a decent trigger, it's going to take off like crazy.

I agree, as did K&M Arms, previously:Originally posted by Sticks View PostKel-Tec may have missed the boat on this one.

The K&M Arms Bullpup Rifle shared a booth with well known AR-15 trigger manufacturer Elftman Tactical, that’s because each K&M Arms bullpup comes standard with an Elftman Tactical AR-15 trigger pack in it. The days of spongy and weak feeling bullpup triggers might be coming to an end with the new K&M Arms Model 17S. […]

A long-time Bullpup enthusiast, I see a lightweight 6.5mm Grendel Bullpup as the cat's meow.

I don't know on the barrel but it's a definite no on the bcg. Otherwise it would be about the same length as an ar with the stock collapsed. It also ejects down and out the back of the butt of the rifle. An ar BCG would have to travel inside of the shooters body to pull that off. It may be an ar bolt though.Originally posted by grayfox View PostDoes the 556 take a standard AR barrel/extension and bcg? if so maybe one of these could be backfitted to a Grendel.
The Skunkworks guys wonder...

A ray of hope
To update: I today came across a recent article on the Faxon Firearms ARAK-21 (Review: Faxon Firearms ARAK-21), wherein, the author reports that the 6.5mm Grendel chambering is still in the works ---

With the ARAK-21 from Faxon Firearms, consumers have access to elements of a little-known design from a half century past.
