    Monster 20 break in range report

    First firing of the 20 inch Monster group buy barrel.
    Swapped out the BCA 24 inch barrel in my rig (Larue MBT trigger, Burris pepr mount, Bushnell Trophy Xtreme X30 6-24x50 Scope
    magpul moe stock)

    Break in steps: 1 shot clean, 1 shot clean, 2 shots clean, 3 shots clean, 5 shots clean, 10 shots clean, 10 shots clean.
    Loads = Sierra 120 MK, Hornady fire form brass, cci 450

    First shot out of the new barrel at 100 yards, no scope adjustment from zero with the 24 inch BCA hit 2.3 inches high and 3.5 inches to the right.
    Range conditions: 50 degrees, sunny, calm

    Nice shooting! I think my 18 GM Monster is on par with those accuracy numbers. Not much better than 1 MOA, but also not a lot worse than 2 MOA. Besides wolf, which more like 3 to 4 MOA.
