    Bolt failure

Next question- I know there were bolt issues when the Grendel was first conceived, is this still an issue?
Hate to need the rifle and have it fail because of a bolt. To much money to lose on hunts, and missed opportunities in case of zombie or goblin encounters
I appreciate the help guys, the 6.5 is unmarked territory for me

Nowadays? No. However be advised that bolts can and do fail at some point, so always plan on it and have a spare. This is true for any AR style gun.
AIRC you can search on here for discussions on this and whatever went down earlier, but if you get from a reputable dealer, like PF, or AA, or JP, or the monster buy from on here (the best and most cost effective IMO) you will be gtg.
But from an interweb low-price no-name outfit and who knows...

Night stalker, I seem to recall some threads about tool craft having a different length bolt and mil spec firing pins would work. Double check before you buy.

I received a new TC yesterday and measured the bolt and pin to find that it is indeed in spec with the proper longer bolt and standard firing pin length.
