    Trigger

I've had a LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger in my Grendel that I like. Now I want a trigger for a DPMS Oracle .308 and wonder if that's still a good one in the $100 range or is there something better?

Yes, it drops into any of the modern SR25/AR10 copies on the market.

Nothing beats it for the price and none of them in that price range have undergone the testing and quality controls that the MBT-2S has.

I just dropped an MBT 2S Larue trigger in an AR308 build. Excellent trigger. As LRRPF52 posted nothing beats it for the price. The next step but in my opinion would be a Geiselle NM adjustable trigger. 3 to 4 times the price of the Larue.

MBT’s might be the best value out there for the money.

All three of my .223 Wylde ARs have MBT triggers. They are indeed the best for the money, however my BCA Grendel has a Calvin Elite trigger that is scary good, but it damned well should be for the cost. The 18" Grendel I'm building will get a Jard drop-in. I can't wait to compare the two triggers.

I hunt with my rifles and have MBT triggers in them and love how cleanly they break.
I can't see any reason to spend more on a trigger that may or may not work as well.

They are 80 bucks for one, 75 for 3/4, 70 for 5 or more and they must finally have stock on hand as when I ordered my last 3, I received them the same week I ordered them.

Damn, I bought my first one when they first came out, they were $205 shipped. I felt like it was a fair price at the time. The rest I bought for $99 around holidays past.

The MBT has become by baseline trigger for any new build. They're just too good for the price. I do still like my Geissele SSA better....but not more than twice the price better.

I think for first was the 99 dollar, 'I can't wait' price. Next few were the 87.00 price. Then jumped on the pre Christmas sale which is still live. Just ordered a pair of LT204 mounts on Saturday, they shipped out today!
