    Grendel P-12 380 ACP

    This is a surprise.
I just found out there is a pistol named Grendel.

Ugly little thing, but Grendel nevertheless:

I believe these were made by the predecessor of Kel tec. they also made a .22mag pistol with a 30rd mag.

George Kellgren, made Grendel 380 pistols from 1987-1994,before he started Kel Tek in 1995. Low budget jammo-matic that I would not trust my life to. Sorry even though Kel Tek are made in my backyard,Cocoa,FL, I am not a fan of their pistols.

        Tell Trayvon that Kel-Tec is a jam-a-matic.

The P-12 was gen 2, gen 1 was the P-10, it featured an internal magazine and was loaded using a tool that holds a stripper clip of rounds. They both use a clockwork spring to drive the hammer that is prone to breakage if dry fired. For a .380 it's a very uncomfortable pistol to fire, I know as I own a P-11. I bought because it is unusual and I can honestly say I have a pistol that uses a clip and not a magazine.
