  • Magpul PRS Stock, which buffer spring are you using?

This build i'm going with a PRS stock, not too many options in the way of A2 buffers, so options would be to use standard A2 buffer, Enidine buffer, or do something like use the Spikes spacer and an ST-T2 buffer, etc.

    What are others using?

Use the standard A2 buffer. I have never had a problem with it.I have the same stock on my 18" grendel and it works perfect.

I've used the standard rifle buffer with Tubbs / SSS flat wire buffer spring with no issues in a PRS stock. In an A1 stock, I'm currently using the MGI buffer in a rifle length system (along with an appropriate spacer) with the same Tubbs / SSS spring. The MGI definitely softens the recoil in my current setup.

yea I read that Ullr, some said they worked fine and others said they had issues, I have one here somewhere in storage so may have to dig it out and try it, will also search the forum to see what the issues were...for now i'll stick with the A2 buffer and flat wire spring, but may do some testing with the other, i'm going to put a Kies adjustable lo-pro gas block on this build and can experiment.
