The barrel is crowned as the smith has done for all my ak. i removed the brake with no change as well. The gassing would be something to look into. kns makes a fine adjustable piston. will post with more....

Beautiful rifle. I really hope non-AR platforms start offering 6.5 Grendel more, AK's seem like they could really benefit from the cartridge upgrade.Comment

I always wanted to see Rob Ski from Youtube Channel AK 47-74 Operators Union (AKU) do extensive shooting with an AK in 6.5 Grendel. I think Rob is very knowledgeable on the AK pattern rifles and gives fair evaluations plus has a pretty good following on YT.Comment
