    E-lander 17 round Grendel Mag

I saw this in a FB group. I ordered two.

Larue Tactical has E-Lander 17 round 6.5 Grendel mags on sale for $9.98 right now.

Thanks, think I'll get a 24 to add to my 10s and 20. Looks like they have a sale on 40 round Pmags too.

Thanks. I have 3 17's. Which is totally super plenty. Then preloaded some mags for a 500 yard load test range session (where time-on-target is limited) - and 3 mags is NOT plenty. Ordered 6 more, $10 a pop is a great deal. Asside from the rattle, these mags serve me well.

Thank you for the heads up! Ordered a couple 17s and a couple 10s. Can't beat the price - E-Lander seems to have good reviews. Also ordered a LaRue paint can lid (Battle Mixer) out of curiosity Not sure when the stuff will arrive, but I'm not in any hurry.

They are nice magazines, fit just a little looser and hang down a bit more than the 15 round stoner mags. Need to run a few rounds through them. A bit shiny for my taste.

They also are shorter inside than the Stoner/ASC mags. But function perfectly so far.

This, don't take an E-Lander out of the wrapper right before something important. Make sure to cycle that magazine several times, to smooth out the inside of the feed lips and break in the spring. Don't judge too harsh if there is a jam or two in those initial cycles. After that, in my experience, they tend to run just fine.

All my Elanders required a break in. On the advice of some on this forum, I've taken letting them sit for several weeks, fully loaded, and then tweaking the lips outward a bit. This has helped.

The sale is still on. I ordered 2 just because it is a great deal and they arrived 2 days later in Texas.

Thanks for the tips, mine have been loaded for a while just itching for their asshole owner to take them out to the range and let them loose.
