It's not about the need, the amount of torque offset is minimal. If we didn't allow for it, we would have gotten called out for it, right? Anyway the "seat of the pants" feel is different than the high speed snap that translates into barrel harmonics being disturbed. Hey, it doesn't hurt anything, does it? Ports on top are going to be needed, why not offset it and in the process eject the gas out of the middle sight line of scope.

Any idea when the .720" version will be available?

Very true, Mark - the offset does no harm, and they are very good looking brakes, regardless.
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Actually I think its cool because people will ask "Where did you get that?". And the gas off ports off to the side out of the FOV is a great idea.

To the best of my knowledge, yes. He mentioned that the 9/16-24 was in the works, but make be a bit later than the 5/8. But only be a couple of weeks and that was a couple of weeks ago; so I am expecting/awaiting them too. He said they would be about $85.

Ask about it in this thread but be warned they are finalizing a move and Mark has been in the hospital recently due to stress.
In order to save some time wading through all the backlog of emails and posts on the Forum, I am starting this thread. If you questions or want to change an order already placed, please email me once again at pf15@pf15.com. I apologize for being out of the loop for so long. We once again have decent internet access at

Yeah, the last I heard they were expecting these to be ready by mid November. I have been tracking the move status and Mark's health issues, but was wondering about these muzzle devices and the new Gas blocks they developing in November. Perhaps the move put them on the back burner. I will check the thread and maybe ask there if nobody has any newer info. Thanks!
