        Gunbot also shows several other vendors with ammunition in stock although Selway has the best price by far.

          Graf's has the Hornady LNL on sale ...don't let ammo shortages slow you down (only let powder shortages slow you down ).
          Graf & Sons, the reloading authority, has a wide selection of reloading supplies, shooting supplies, ammo and more.

            You a**, why would you show me such a great deal? HAHAHA I've been putting off buying a progressive press until I came across a deal to good to pass up. I was hoping it'd be a dillon I'd come across. Unless someone can recall seeing a better deal on these I'll probably be forced to order this today.

              Cory - you won't be disappointed with the LNL. Mine has been a tank, and the powder measure is quite consistent. With both a pistol and rifle cylinder, the charges are quite easy to adjust. Changing calibers takes only a couple minutes, and setting the powder charge, a couple more. Plus, I've never had trouble locating shell plates.

              <additional tormenting ends>

                hd cowboy, roll your own ammo. This caliber is easy to load, work up loads. For under $ 200.00, you can be into a decent-basic set up.

                The data abounds now for powder, bullet wts. , charges- etc.
                Search this forum, or check the Grendel Handbook's out.

                    I don't see what the difficulty is, I can walk into any Academy and get Hornady 123gr SST ammo any time I want. AND they restock, so I don't think it's a fluke.
                    Waiting for an AR in .45-70 with a 30 inch octagon barrel, case hardened receiver, and extra fancy walnut furniture. Until the day someone makes one, I guess 6.5mm Grendel will do nicely.

                      I was at Academy here in LA today. I counted 16 boxes of the 123gr SSTs. I think I am the only person around here that buys any.

                          I got two Gredels rifles sitting in a closet unfired.

                          I just lost interest in the AR platform.

                            You might want to look through the 6.5 Grendel Bolt Actions & Single Shots sub forum.

                            Even in a single shot or bolt rifle, the Grendel is really hard to beat in terms of combining modest recoil long range reach and medium game harvesting ability. Especially true with factory ammunition!

                            And, the cartridge's popularity helps explain why shelves sometimes go empty but previous posts in this thread tell is it is there often enough to count!
