Love the chassis but having a hard time getting past the $399 price tag plus add price for buffertube, buttock and grip. I have several Boyds and although I like them I lust for something different and fully adjustable. I guess I'll just have to see how the bonus looks this year.

I bet they will come out with the longer ( xl ) if you wait. Just put a little $ back weekly and in no time you will have enough. Most reviews have been positive. looks good! I have a feeling the chassis will be able to wring out a bit more accuracy from the rifle - the only drawback for me would be the extra weight (and the fact that its probably not as comfortable to carry as a traditional stock)Comment

I just saw a magazine at the store and it had a rifle that looked exactly like that. It appeared to be a Mossberg advertisement.

I knew Howa would release a chassis rifle . If they didn't then they would lose customers to Ruger,Tikka, Weatherby etc...... Anybody know the price on those ? I'm guessing around a grand . All the major rifle manufacturers are watching Howa's grendel sales . If these mini's take off big then we'll likely see many more bolt action grendels . It's the perfect youth/ladies caliber and add the adjustable stock it's a no brainer. im pretty sure everyone is out of stock on the heavy barrels, they sell super fast. Whittakers may have them? i cant really say for sure who has them, any FFL is able to order these from us. I got a mini in HB multi cam back around Christmas ( love it ) . I for sure will get this chassis in the next few months . I'm saving for a Atlas bipod which I'm about 2 weeks away from having the $$$ , then I'll move on to the LSS chassis next .Comment
