      Hi All,
      I too was face with this question.
      Being a long time contender shooter I really like them, but I wanted more.
      This is what I came up with.
      Encore Pro Hunter
      MGM 16.25" Bull 6.5 Grendel
      Tony's Stock and hand guard
      and a little custom here and there.
      Yup you guessed it not cheep, but I love it....

          I can't compare to shellcatcher's encore but my contender really performs with the Grendel
