I like the look, not so much the cost.

I clicked on the specs and pricing and wasn’t able to get it to load. What was the price you seen on them?

$1059 MSRP for the 6.5G Oryx chassis rifle, 20” barrel. Weighs 8.8lbs.

Price and weight don’t seem too bad for a full-up chassis system, IMHO. Street price will be well under a thousand.

8.8 pounds, my 20 heavy howa in a boyds pro varmint comes in just 2 oz under that fully loaded.

So that's not a bad weight for a more presision type setup and more so since its a big hunk of aluminum too.

Depending on how my boyd's stock ends up I may pick up this chassis.

Currently I am just shooting my Grendel in a AR platform but this bolt gun really has my interest.

At a listed price of $1059...
                  The brownell's -- action/barrel -- is on sale for $360.
Add an oryx chassis for $400 retail.

So, I don't understand their math...

unless it adds in a nikko scope that you might not want.

They got to cover the cost of somebody putting the 2 screws in it lol.

Funny! I like the Oryx chassis. Perhaps it's just better suited for something other than a mini or micro action. It's a shame to take a 6.5 pound gun and make it a 9 pound gun.

Seems kinda unfair to compare the rifle's MSRP to a Brownell's deep discounted sale price... I'm guessing the actual price will be closer to $900, which must also include the 11% FET on full rifles. I'd bet the full rifles also have more complete warranty support.

Anyone noticed that legacy are listing the Mini Howa with an Accurat eMag chassis?
