    De-slicking Boyd's stock?

Just got my Boyd's stock in for my Howa Mini action Grendel, looks good, feels good, but it's kind of slippery. What, if anything, have you guys done to make these things a bit grippier? Although I don't normally have sweaty hands, I do live in hot country, at least part of the year, and I see a real issue with being able to hang onto this thing. Thanks.

Nothing kills the incentive of men faster than a healthy sense of entitlement. Nothing kills entitlement faster than a healthy sense of achievement.

After realizing how slippery the Boyds pro varmint I'd ordered in for a 6.5 Grendel Mini was, the next ProVarmint stock I needed was ordered with their optional laser etched panels on the pistol grip & forend. I'm much more comfortable with this stock than I was with the first one.

Brownells is a good place to look for solutions. This may be of help.
