    Flush Bottom Metal

So after a year of procrastination I dusted off one of my original internal magazine designs, tweaked it and made a working prototype.
I have been keeping this project under wraps until I had a fully functional prototype in my hands.

I had to toy with internal geometry to get rounds to feed without modification to the gun itself. The prototype holds 4 rounds and has a hinged floorplate with an Oberndorf style floorplate latch. The parts will be hard anodized like my other units and will have the same finish.

Only some new fixturing is necessary and my next batch of material arriving and I will start my first production run.

Here it is installed in my first production run B&C M40 stock. This internal box is not as sensitive to inlet depth as the removable magazines.

I'm really hoping next month, if my material arrives next week. My target price is $150 but that is not set in stone.

        I am interested in this....

The only major fault of the Howa mini is the shitty plastic bottom "metal", and that crappy box magazine that falls out every other time I pick up the rifle.

          Hokey,
Maybe you could look at the Ruger American sporter stock from B&C next...? for the RAP Grendel.
I think lots of guys would go for that combo.

I forgot to add in my first post but someone will ask, the internal mag length is 2.470 and I think with a small tweak I can get it to 2.500.

When you say anodized, does that mean it?s aluminum? Any idea what it all weighs?

Hokey makes some great gear. His bottom metal on the mini I use to have is top shelf.

I expect it to work in any stock that has a factory inlet, this one works in my factory tupperware stock and my B&C M40 stock.

I wish the cz action had enough meat in it for a hinged floor plate.

If you start to build these I would definitely be interested in one.
