Short action, Mini action, Micro Mauser

Does anyone know the length of the CZ Micro Mauser action in Grendel?

    Short action average 6.9 inches
Howa Mini Action is 6.0 inches...

Just trying to getva perspective of the CZ Micro Mouser action in reference to the 2 others.

My CZ 525 min Mauser, not mouser, measures 6 1/2 inches from front ring to the rear of the closed bolt. 6 3/4 to rear tang.

"Speech to text" posting... you can blame that on my so called handicap assist device haha.

I am assuming the Micro Mauser is a happy medium from Howa Mina and Short actions...

I have never seen a Howa, but have two CZ527's one a 22 Hornet Prestige, the other my 6.5 Grendel American. They are tiny, and the bolt action can be rather sticky at first, both of mine were. A lot of cycling and they are now slick as greased glass.

My Cz 527 6.5 Grendel bolt is sticky closing but I saw on a forum where someone mentioned using their thumb to push the bolt closed. I tried pushing the bolt forward with my thumb and it was silky smooth. Using the bolt handle only it is sticky and clunky closing. The bolt always slides smoothly to the rear.

Military arms channel actually talked about the Bolt being an issue in his review on YouTube.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but when I saw the request for the length of a "micro mouser", I immediately pictured you guys trying to measure a bunch of very small kittens.

All three of my CZ rifles were sticky when I got theml. I ended up applying some flitz polish and cycling a lot, wiped down, replace flitz and cyclied some more, then ceaned very thoroughly and lubed and the are now silky smooth using the handle. There are also some extremely square corners on rear surfaces of the bolt, I lightly stoned those with a fine ceramic stone just to break the edges and that also helped a lot. Look for any roughness, machine marks or sharp edges on the bolt and address them
