    Torque Values on Howa Mini

    Guys,
I have a new Howa mini with a carbon fiber stock.

Would you please give me the torque values for the action screws.

I have always used 35 - 45 inch pounds for best results. of course if you still have the plastic trigger guard that goes out the window

With the plastic trigger guard, Legacy Sports told me 35 inch pounds was the max torque for the action screws. With an aluminum guard, I've been using 45 inch pounds.

The user manual that came with my rifle said 55 inch pounds. Using that value resulted in a broken guard. Legacy told me they were gonna fix the manual but I imagine there are some rifles out there that still have the older manual.
