    Bullet clearance affects muzzle brake recoil

    This video showed that a bullet clearance of .020"-.030" on a brake has the least recoil.

    One comment below the video says that a brake will lose .005" from the original new diameter after 100 rounds. The person just says that he has measured the difference between a new brake and a fired brake.
