Flash Hider on a Mini Howa

Been thinkin' 'bout stickin' a three prong flash hider on the snout of my mini Howa. Got one question: Do three prong flash hiders need to be timed like muzzle brakes? Is it installed with an opening between prongs at 12 O'clock or does make no difference at all where its located. Happy New Year to the Hoard!

if the prongs and slots are symmetrical, then no, it doesn't need to be timed wrt influencing recoil.

sixfiveoutfitter makes two nice ones, one open prong and one closed prong. and he's one of us. (BFT)

scroll down to the bottom. they're nice and slim. I like 'em.

Thanks tdbru. I've seen those flash hiders on the six-five site but already have one from Wilson Combat.
