Picatinny Forearm Rail mount for Bell & carlson stock?

Hello All, I am looking to mount a Picatinny Forearm Rail on a VG Bell & Carlson stock for a CZ 527. Expect the rail mount would benefit greatly from at least a light skim cut for a flat surface to mount the rail. any one here does or seen this implemented in a favorable fashion? I am looking for ideas in terms of technique & rail choice.

One rail consideration linked below. Thank you for your thoughts.

Ended up epoxy bedding this one. May try Epoxy putty in the future. The runny epoxy was less than handy with the large gaps to be filled.

I always used JB Weld to bed my scope rails back when I was foolish enough to buy Remington 700's.
