BCA bolt action upper receiver set.

There always seem to be temptations in life. I have been following members builds using Bear Creek Arsenal bolt action upper receivers. I just noticed BCA is selling a bolt action upper receiver including the bolt action bolt group for 7.62x39. This looks like a great opportunity to build a bolt action AR-15 using the x39 bolt and a 6.5 Grendel barrel and the hand guard of your choice. This upper would be a good candidate for a 22 ARC or 6 ARC bolt action build. Here is a link. If only Rexus had a 22 ARC barrel in stock, lol.

Buy the BC-15 7.62x39/12.7x42 Bolt Action Style Upper Receiver & BCG Combo from Bear Creek Arsenal to achieve high performance and accuracy in every shot!

I just noticed BCA list the 6.5 Grendel/6 ARC bolt action upper receiver group.

Find the BC-15 6mm ARC/6.5 Grendel Bolt Action Style Upper Receiver & BCG Combo from Bear Creek Arsenal, ideal for your dream build today at an affordable price.

I've actually been waiting now for these plain upper/bcg combo's to show up. The full upper that I bought, took apart and tested on my grendel 18", worked well, but then swapped it to a 6mm Arc-20" barrel. Not sure I trust their AR bolts (I have rexus ones etc), but will put it in the spares bin. My 18" GR does better (I think) as an AR so put that all back, this one could go onto a 300 Hamr I have.
Some of the 6 Arc rounds would feed in tip-high and jam, I think it may be due to what mag I use... other mags (even of the same mfr so it's just individual performances I guess) work fine. I also tried some lead-tips and will stick to hpbt's and poly for these setups. Note that for the pic rail, there seems to be a slight offset vice my Aero's (nice ones), so you need to re-zero even if you keep the same scope for the barrel. A 6.8 mag I had from 'way back, worked well for me this range session on the 6 Arc-20Bolt.
