  • ar style bolt gun 6.5 G

any market for a AR15 bolt action, I have a prototype finished, advantage.
Gun ban states with a semi auto ban
use your ar15 lower/magazine fed/complete upper: any caliber even AR10 platform/ bolt is straight pull or rotating, use any caliber AR Bolt and barrel combo/ use of AR upper free float with or out rails / using your lower / any trigger and adjustable stock.
    no chasing brass.

I am running test on my prototype straight pull model currently.

This is what the Brits do to comply with their firearms laws.

yep I have seen the Lantac and the raven, I just got tired of chasing brass so I built one today, with a little different set up, will test it tomorrow... how are things? I am teaching my longrange class class in 3 weeks

Would be a good young hunters rifle as well.

I can see some benefits to doing a "bolt gun" like that. No gas blocks or tubes to mess with, straight barrel profile from receiver to muzzle... I've played around with the idea myself.

Do you mean like the one 2nd from the right. You can just see the cocking handle.

I've been thinking of an enhanced manually-operated system in the AR15, where you have a ratcheted gear ratio mechanism where minimal input retracts the action.

If it helps I can cock the AR without my thumb leaving the pistol grip and I have smallish hands. Like this guy when he gets to the prone position.

What about a pump action using a rod where the gas tube fits into the bolt and a floating forearm.

Back from the range with 123 SST factory ammo
stoner 24 inch barrel Bolt AR
Semi mode shot group was .995 - 4 shots
bolt action mode with gas port blocked .724 -4 shots

I would guess this is do to lock time not being a factor on the bolt gun as the bolt stays, function was great, very fast bolt gun, and brass is clean.
I like it, going to make one in 308 next

Have a military job, so takes time.

I am toying with a T handle like a K31, so far feels good, it rough but working, will weld up a better and shorter one in the future

                            target one is Semi

Target 2 is Bolt with a Sighter far left, moving the group to the right for spindrift, 1/2 moa left
4 shots were fired for group testing

and yes scope is ugly and high, only used it for testing
