The weird thing about Eabco (and I say this while having sort of a business connection with them), is that they LOVE the 6.5mm caliber, and are a HUGE Lapua brass and bullet dealer, but they seem to have some kind of animosity toward the Grendel. I'm guessing it's because they've got their own in-house 6.5 cartridge, which is a close competitor.

the funny part is that they will chamber a contender barrel in 264 lbc but and they will put 6mm ppc in the 97 maybe call them back and ask about 264 lbc in the 97 and see what they say
        Punctuation is for the weak....

A few years back when the Grendel was still trademarked, I called and asked (since they were loading a 22 and 6 ppc) about the Grendel; they were very nice to me. If they ever change there mind, I'm in for one. Maybe we all could all e mail them asking to buy one in grendel?

Yes, I read their blurb on their 6.5mm BR Magnum, a long skinny thing. They opine [unconvincingly] that the pencil shape assists in concentricity.

I actually did a roof for a guy this summer. We got to talking. He has that 6.5 Br mag. He really likes it.

              That's all I got

Yeah, but it's a 30-30 brass necked down. It can't be used in a semi auto.

Fine for a TC single-or... a falling block.

I think EABCo is missing a bet on this. If there is room for a 6.8 and the Grendel in the marketplace, there is room for a 6.5BRM and a Grendel. And since they already do other PPC cartridges the new investment should be small. Its not like any Grendel collecters/shooters are going to throw away their AR to buy a falling block 6.5 BRM

No. I had never heard of the falling block until I met that guy. I actually think it's a nifty little gun. I'd buy one just to "round out" the collection.
