Grendel barrrels for a bolt action......

Has anyone bought one of the 6.5 barrels from Green Mountain and then had it profiled and chambered by someone else? GM makes a very good barrel but I wonder if going this route might cost me more. Then again, it might be my only choice if I decide to go with a LR Mauser action for the build. I like the thoughts of the lighter SR action but if I try to push the Grendel cartridge it would be nice to have the added gas handling design features of the 98 action. Any suggestions on smiths that would profile, thread for Mauser action and then chamber the barrel in a proper grendel chamber?

I would suggest Jim at Apache Gun works. I am not sure if he does Mauser barrels but it would be worth looking into. I know he uses Green Mountain blanks a lot. I got a .260 rem barrel from him a couple months back and it is the most accurate gun i own now. He has very competitive prices(I probably saved $175+ over a Shilen) and his turn around time was 4wks+/-
