    My Build

So far this is what I have.
    Lower: PSA Liberty
    Stock: Magpul ASC Mil Spec
Buffer Tube: Spikes with T2 Buffer
    Trigger: PSA QMS Kit
Upper: Aero Precision w/milspec charging handle

Looking at running a 20" barrel, Voodoo Integral BCG, JP adjustable gas block. I have a set of dies coming along with 2 mags. Next purchase will be the barrel.

Looks like a great start, I have the same stock and it works great for what I do.

Looks good so far, might want to lap the upper before installing barrel. Heard good thing about the vodoo bolt carrier.
12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
        Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

        Aim small, miss small!

Not sure on barrel maker but will either go with a 20" or 22" barrel. Also I will replace the trigger and hammer spring seeing as how it breaks at about 5.5lbs. I don't mind it but I do like a light trigger.

What's your intended use? Hunting or paper punching, and what distances? I'm sure you can get some input. I thought I wanted a 20", but got an 18" after realizing I wasn't giving up much muzzle velocity, and it was for hunting at relatively short distances, most of the time. Now I'm building another "lighter" hunting rifle.

Hunting and would like to have to ability to hunt effectively out to 500yds with enough energy to make an effective kill. I currently hunt and shoot a sporterized Swedish Mauser with a 24" barrel and it's a .5 MOA rifle at 100yds. Plan on stretching it's legs when summer arrives.

For Wyoming and hunting those distances, I would go with at least a 20" medium-heavy profile.

Got my set of dies in today. Got plenty of bullets to experiment with.

I have a JP adjustable gas block coming but it seems the clearance for a free float handguard is going to be an issue. It is for .750 barrel, height 1.40" with a .775 over bore. Who makes a handguard that will fit over this or should I just leave it exposed for easy access?
