I'm in the process of buying/building my first Grendel. I have a 16 inch AA barrel and bolt on the way (as well as a 12 inch faxon but that is for a later date). I will likely suppress it in the future. I have read the LMT enhanced carrier is a solid option. Is this correct, or should I just get a cheaper one for half the price if it makes no difference?

Parts list as I see it:

AA bolt and barrel
LMT carrier
Mega matched billet upper and lower
Swfa 1-6 in a larue or bobro
Surefire brake
Bcm kmr rail 15 inch




Should I use an adjustable gas block or will a standard suffice?

Is there any high quality LPK in stock, anywhere??

What kind of loctite is everyone using on the gas block/brake/gas tube?

Recommendations/thoughts?

Sweet parts list!

A milspec carrier sold by a repudable company should work just fine.

If you will suppress, an adjustable gas block is recommended.
I have a Spikes Tactical LPK minus trigger group I could send your way for what I paid plus shipping.
I use red loctite on my gas blocks and tubes.
