Don't forget to include Stiller Precision! They have a fancy set screw that helps tighten up the fit.

Outstanding looking lower but they sure are proud of it.

          These guys, too:

Since they sell forgings, I am assuming they do them themselves.

Just checked with Stiller and they said they have some dealers overseas who pitch a fit when they publish their direct sale price ($225 for a stripper lower, not $369 MSRP). I paid $225 for mine and when I saw the current list price my jaw dropped a little. All their prices are listed like this. Not sure about that marketing idea, but they do make a fine lower!

That's a little easier to swallow.

I posted the major producers of forged lowers, who use roughly the same AR15A2 data...nothing special. An attempt to try to list all the start-ups and have-beens making billet lowers would require a bankruptcy search of most of the States over the past 30 years. There are a few who have done well for themselves though, and some companies that have chosen to do everything in-house when it comes to receivers, especially those that want funneled mag wells, additional controls, ambi features, and so on (KAC/POF/LWRC etc. etc.)

their website says MSRP $369, but they sell direct for $225.

Didn't mean to hijack your thread, LRRP.

Shoot, I'm the biggest hijacker of all...can't help myself. If it's about a manufacturer of lowers, I think it's totally pertinent. Maybe someone can follow-up with a list of billet lower manufacturers...
