    First AR build

Some of you might of seen the pics of my lower build in another thread. Started with a billet of aluminum and topped it off with a Grendel Hunter 18" upper. Usual suspects, Strike industries, Magpul, PSA, Vortex, and Nikon. The mount and scope are from another rifle. Waiting on my Aero-Precision mount, a Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44 and Strike Industries King Comp.

Nice! Certainly redefines building one from scratch!

More to point, short of machining his own LPK and FCG, that is truly a build. The other 99.5% of us "Assemble".

      Catchy sig line here.

Got my upper yesterday and headed straight to the range. only needed 11 rounds of Hornady SST to get it dialed at 100 yards. After the 11th shot, [first at 100 yards] I made a scope adjustment and the next 3 rounds were in the bullseye touching. 15th and final shot was just outside bullseye.Only needed 15 rounds to confirm this upper is definitely a MOA shooter.
I'm at work now but will post pic of target when I get home. All shots were taken off the bench only using the wood rests that are provided at the range.

Nice shooting, and impressive build! I wish I had access to that type of machinery.
