    Polishing feed ramps

Might be the wrong section but I will drop this here mods feel free to move if need be.

I polished the feed ramps of my first jp barrel but been thinking of going back over them again since I have some time now and also will have several other extensions to do as well.

What I'm asking is of the members here that have done this can you post some pics of what your extension looks like after you polished it, meaning while it's installed in the upper.

What to see what they look like compared to the m4 ramps in the upper to better judge if I should do more to mine that I already worked on a few years back.

I don't think I have a pic of it in the upper. I'll check, might take one and get it uploaded. However, I'm not sure it's something to do unless your'e having issues of some sort. Any of them bind/fte/ftf? My two cents.

That would be great thank you.

Naw I'm good no problems just always felt I could have polished and blended it a lil better with the m4 ramps that's cut into the upper.

Just wanted to see some pics of members to see if I should do a lil more.

The barrels I have coming and my other 18 inch jp I never got around to it, so soon I will have 3 of them to do.

I'm a tinker by nature can't help myself lmao.

Y'all should see my summit climbing stand lol it's pimped out to the max.

I'll take a picture of my Odin 16", just about the nicest ramp I've ever seen from a production barrel and I likely will never touch it.

A thank you from me also. About the only polishing that I have done on mine is to just break the sharp edges with a fine stone.
Knowing what to make it look like would be great.

Thanks for reposting this pic sir.

Looking at it I think I could have taken a lil more off when I blended the one I did.

Will keep this inmind when I do the next one.

I've got some pics up already on the "cases getting scratched" thread down in troubleshooting Blaster.

Those look great mine aren't much different except looking at yours and LRRPF's pic I should have taken a lil more off the very sharp corners at the top of the feed ramp.

Will soon have two new barrels to do and will be going back over the one I did before.
