Have a chance if I so choose to dig into my savings to buy a friend of mines STG-44 chambered in 7.62x39.
But I'm wondering could this rifle platform be converted to 6.5 grendel?
It uses 7.62x39 metal mags, so the internal mag length should be there but wonder if it will take much tweaking of the mags to get it to properly run grendel ammo?
Might be a waste of time but it sure would be cool to have a stg44 in grendel just for playing with but at the same time not sure it's worth digging in to my savings.
