Updated my Grendel - Recommend me a Proper scope please

Alright guys, i been posting here multiple times about my first 6.5G build. I decided to go with simple kit with shitty parts in it and now ended up updating something here and there.

Anyway, here is what I have so far:
    • BCA 20" Straight fluted barrel, 3.1 lbs weight
    • Toolcraft BCG NiB
    • custom milled 7075 lower
    • 7075 upper
    • 7075 charging handle with side thingy for easy access
    • A2 buttstock, custom bought by parts with 7075 buffer tube
    • Timney Targa 2 stage short trigger
    • KNS Anti Walk pins
    • Elander magazine 24 rnd
    • 15" 6061 handguard
    • T-POD G2 Bipod/Grip (amazing product! from grip to bipod in less than second, and super sturdy in both modes! plus swivels too!)
    • Cerakoted trigger guard, upper, lower, handguard, pistol grip and stock in Tungsten color
    • Trigger guard with finger stop and mag load assist functionality, very ergonomic

The whole thing weights 11.09lbs together with sight and empty 24 rnd mag.

The only thing there now is that Vortex Strike Eagle with BDC for 223...completely irrelevant, just grabbed it cuz i had it (looking to get rid of it and buying the proper optics)

    Things to do:
Well, everything is done... had Timney trigger unscrewed after 500 rounds, so i got extra set screws and did KNS antiwalk pins, so its fixed, got extractor broke...so i bought Toolcraft BCG, initially BCA barrels were shit, so i got them send me a better more expensive ones... so all good now.
The only thing which is still maybe doing after some time is...get a much better barrel,. most likely will be Faxon 20" or JP 22"? will see but that is later.

Right now, the thing which i really NEED is recommendation for a scope, here are my requirements:
    • I need scope with MOA divisions, both horizontal and vertical, its a must for me
    • Need illuminated scope
    • PArallax control would be nice
    • Needs to have good forgieving eye reliefe (or maybe even one which allows shooting with both eyes open?)
    • Magnification, 8x-10x or so
    • Recommend me FFP or SFP? My distances of interest for this rifle are: 100-800yards
    • Needs to be ROBUST. no cheap stuff. it needs to be of some brand which military would use too

The other day i was closely looking at VCOG from Trijicon...but that sucker costs $2000, is it worth it? and plus...its actually 6x only...and i saw someeone on internet saying that its not actually as good glass quality as some other brands.

so.... can you point me to some scope?

because of my last requirement, Vortex is out of question...correct? Does US special forces even use vortex?

Alright, here go pics of my updated beast:

Picking up one of these used is a good deal.

I have the nx8. It's 1-8 ffp with illuminated reticle. At 1x the illuminated circle works similarly to a red dot. Without illumination the reticle is pretty hard to pick up on the lower magnifications. I like ffp but your not using the reticle to range distances at 1x. The reticle on a sfp scope is usually accurate on its max magnification which is what you would use to range anyway.

I have the moa. I love the scope. I use it on my 12" hunting sbr. The 2 negatives for me are that the aim point is a 1.25 moa dot. Makes it a little difficult to try to shoot small groups at the range but for hunting it's fine. I also would rather have 0.25 moa adjustments instead of 0.5moa. But for my hunting use the scope it great.

The SWFA scope are a great bang for the buck in my opinion. SWFA-ss.com.
