    Bolt carrier

So Im on my second 6.5 build, and I just ordered a group buy bolt like my first one. I now need a carrier. Looks like I'm done building 5.56's . Looks like its cheaper to buy a complete bcg than just trying to find a carrier. If so I figured I should get a 6.5 BCG. Been looking for a few days and don't really want to spend over $100. Everything seems to be sold out. Any recommendations on where and what to get.

Righttobeararms stripped bcg and get the parts to finish it from joebobs.

Arm or Alley had Toolcraft 6.5 Grendel BCG for around $85 and PSA also had TC 6.5 Grendel BCG for around $99. Primary Arms had a BCA BCG for about $70. You could swap out the BCA bolt and use the Monster 6.5 Grendel Group Buy bolt and keep the BCA for a spare.

Brownell’s BCG for 6.5 Grendel were on sale but they used to use 2.800 inch length bolt which uses a .01 inch shorter firing pin. I brought this to Brownell?s attention but I don’t know if they have changed their bolts. Standard 6.5 Grendel bolts use a length of 2.810 inch length to off set the deeper bolt face depth (.136 6.5 Grendel vs .125 inch 5.56/223) and permits the use of mil spec firing pins.

WC Armory, Toolcraft $75.00. Bought one about a month ago and bolt and firing pin measured correctly.

I buy 5.56 BCG on sale from primary arms or wherever and swap the bolt with the group buy bolt. Now I have about 5 spare 5.56 bolts and it’s the least expensive way to go.

That's odd, I just loaded one in the cart and checked out another.
