Thought sure there would be a sale on Geissele SSA-e trigger for Memorial Day but no such luck. What would be comparable in a Timney trigger and how do they compare Geissele

The alg defense two stage is a nice, less expensive option. My target rig has a national match, my hunting/target have ssa and one alg in a hunting gun.
The only real difference I feel is the lighter pull of the nation match.Knowing everthing isnt as important as knowing where to find it.

I finally got a chance to feel an SSA-E yesterday. I took an MBT on a grip block in with me to Ranier. There's no way I'd pay the difference for my perception of any improvement. I don't know how anyone is competing with LaRue at 100+ prices. They're not worth it. Bothe the MBT-2S and MBT 1-S are 87 bucks, and are light speed ahead of many of the triggers I tested yesterday that list for $150+.
IDK, maybe I'm biased... I tend to think that most of the trigger hype is the result of some bias. In the MBT's case though, it's backed up by the sub $90 dollar price, which makes me right-er...Nothing kills the incentive of men faster than a healthy sense of entitlement. Nothing kills entitlement faster than a healthy sense of achievement.
