I recently purchased a couple of blemmed BCM ar15 upppers with the intent ofing turn one of them into a dedicated .22lr upper. So far so good.
I have three Grendels already and even though I have some ammo put back for them, I think I want to go in different direction for the receiver.
I had considered a 9mm build but after shooting my stainless .357 Rossi 1894 i am pretty sure that I need something flatter shooting.
Just build another Grendel or is there another cartridge I should consider?
P.s. Liked Grendel more when I could buy 500 rounds for $138.
Current ammo pricing has me looking at.22lr or pistol rounds.
.223/5.56 at anything 10/12$ a box makes me uncomfortable.
Recently scored some 69gr SMK ADI .223 for 12.50 a box.
Liked the idea of a X39 for cheap ammo and seems to be the same ballistically as.300 blackout.
Already have a couple of ar-10'S, looking for something else. Ideas?
