I've been very pleased with my 18" AA 6.5 Grendel - I had it assembled by WOA and they did a great job. Gun shoots lights out.
It has left me thinking about a slightly shorter, much lighter build. I'm also curious as to whether I could get away with a 6.8 switchblock on a 6.5 Grendel. I will be shooting suppressed more often than not so I'd like to keep my bolt velocity as low as possible considering what I'm shooting and how I'm shooting it.
I know the swithcblock is set up for a specific caliber and length, but I'm curious as to whether anyone who is more familiar with the port size numbers/pressure curves/engineering issues has a firm opinion as to whether this is close enough.
Specifically thinking about this barrel

And this switch block

Any input would be very appreciated, thanks -
