    Extremely cool Machined lower receiver?

I ran onto an extremely cool lower a while back but failed to book mark it. The lover had finger grooves machined into the front of the mag well. It seems like they are made in Idaho. Can anyone help direct me to who makes them?

    Thanks much!

I've got two of these: http://www.firebirdprecision.com/ind...d=29&Itemid=37
Is that the design you saw? They are designed & sold by www.firebirdprecision.com out of New Mexico. Great folks to deal with!!!!

I love good machining work and those are definitely a handsome receiver. Their alleged effort to get more manufactured seems disingenuous though. If you have enough demand to sell 1k plus receivers a year subject to finding someone to take a contract to manufacture them, you would have found someone by now if you really wanted to.

Hey sometimes it is a matter of footing the bills until the sales are made.

It is not easy when all the money is going OUT and not in at the same time.

Commercial loans are not easily achieved these days, especially in the firearms industry.

Those are nice but it wasn't either of them. The finger grooves looked almost like a dragon tail to me. Dang I wish I would of marked them!!!
