10 point buck, 190 yards, Hornady SST 123 grains. I shot him right behind the shoulder while he was quartering slight away from me. He dropped in his tracks and after a few seconds, he tried to get up. I shot him again. By now it was close to dark, so I got out of my stand and went to go get my Ranger. I drive out to where he was and he was gone. I never found him.
Doe, shot at 80 yards, DRT. Hornady SST 123 grain, no pass through.
150# 8pt Whitetail, 175 yards away, 123gr Amax, broadside just behind shoulder, pass through, ~1 1/2-2" exit, deer bucked hard and made a quick 5 yard circle before falling over DRT, blood everywhere, very pleased with results.

If the Democrats had been in power when this country was founded, we'd be the British.
My son shot 2 deer this year with the new Grendel I had built. First was a doe at about 60 yards, 123 SST factory stuff. She went about 40 yards and piled up.
The second was a 12 point 140 class buck at about 110. He went about 50 yards and piled up. Again, 123 SST factory stuff.

Both shot at about 120 yards with Hornady 123 gr SST factory loads. Doe was DRT, buck went maybe 20 yards.
Doe was angling away from me. Bullet entered at last rib, a few fragments found under the hide in front of the off side shoulder.
Buck was angling toward me a little. Bullet entered in front of shoulder, exit behind off side shoulder...No fragments found.
