Starting to look like the Grendel performs better on LARGE game. Small to Medium get fast through and through with internal damage. Large get catastrophic through and through...with the correct bullet and shot placement.

This was a tipped match bullet no less, not the SST or ELDX hunting bullet.

Well In the two camps, rapid controlled expansion vs delayed controlled expansion, I’ve always preferred the results of more rapid controlled expansion. Accubonds launches well north of 2900 actually one of my favs. But with these slower cartridges like the Grendel or creedmoor I’d be shooting the eld-m loads all day long. Can’t say I’m disappointed, I took a sitting on bipod first shot to ensure it was all that was needed and threaded through the trees into the boiler room right where I was aiming. After that I’m on my feet freehanding anything else never seeing more than a third at a time. Nine year tag so I wasn’t playing. My shooting can be criticized but not with full context. The other shots not needed and getting through a hundred yards of trees for follow ups isn’t a slam dunk. I passed a whitetail shot at 380 that evening laying prone lots of time and made it to 125 instead for a power pole rested shot that hit same spot. The data gained is most valuable so wanted to share it. It’s a small sample but three shots into a moose doesn’t happen every day with a new cartridge and get put out there for scrutiny.✌️

You doin good sir, results are what they are. The first shot is the only shot that matters and you put it where it needed to be.

For me personally I would have been useing a lil heavier bullet maybe the 127 LRX or the 129 ablr or a 130 gamechanger but again the results are what they are and the 123 eld-m did it to it.
