    7pt Vermont Buck

I took my second buck with my 6.5 Grendel carbine this morning. Shooting Hornady Black, from 85 yards.

He was with a Doe and had to wait for my shot, doe finally moved a little and got a shot off. Hit him in the spine and dropped right there. He tried to getting up so I took another shot aiming for the neck and hit his nose. The spine shot killed him after a couple minutes.

139lbs fully dressed. I've had great success this year in both New Hampshire and Vermont, so glad I can share with this group.

      Thanks Double Naught!

It was actually nice today, around 28F. Yesterday was brutal though, -8 in the morning and didn't get above single digits all day. They weren't moving in that cold.
