Got my first with the Grendel. 30 yards , quartering towards me. Broke the shoulder and took out the lungs. Knocked her back always and she ran low and hurt 50 yards before expiring. I have shot plenty of deer the same way out of my shooting shack and the Grendel performed same as 270 and 280 cal deer I have shot. It’s as advertised. Happy to be a member of the” horde”. Ps it was a doe. Sulzer firearms billet lower, giesselle g2s trigger, 18” fluted barrell, Troy claymore linear compensator, Leopoldo VX-5HD 2-10 firedot w/ CDS finished off in burnt bronze tiger stripe finish.

Ammo is Hornady SST . Added 8 pt Monday. Shot 150 yards,ran 60 yards towards me and expired. Can’t say enough about this caliber, very impressive. A4F41468-A45A-4D4A-B998-45005DFB01C1.jpeg Didn’t take pics of entrance but both deer had their insides liquified.

Add another doe, shot 30 yards straight on head down base of the neck spine shot. DRT. Loveing this caliber/ setup.
