Hogs with 6.5 Grendel and 6mm Grendel

This was a fun hunt. The Hornady SST 123 gr. in 6.5 Grendel did well. The Sierra Gamechanger in 6mm Grendel did well (and the velocity was higher than I expected). We also had a first for us. One of the hogs killed had been shot previously and we found the foreign bullet in well healed muscle tissue. While I have killed hogs that have been shot previously, I have never recovered a bullet from a previous hunter.

Pretty impressed with the initial results of the 90gr pills in the 6mm. Looking forward to seeing how they do over the course of a few more pigs.

I really like the recoil impulse of the 6mm Grendel

More testing needed on the terminal performance of this load but I still think 308 Win is hard to beat for hogs
