At Grendel velocities the SST has performed great for me. Even hitting the front leg on a 200# whitetail it broke the front leg, broke a rib going in, rib going out, and hit the far leg hard enough that it broke after the deer tried to run. I found the jacket inside the offside leg, looking totally smashed but with the rear of the lead still locked in. That was at 225yds, muzzle velocity ~2450fps. Keep the distances reasonable and the Grendel will perform. Good luck on the hunt.
