Back in the beaver business

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a couple of properties by referrals for dealing with beaver. I got as far as some initial hunting on each and then had afib surgery that sort of knocked me on my butt for a few days. I finally came off restriction and started off hunting at one of the new properties. It was a good evening. I was able to scan from the truck and all of my shooting was from right next to it. Beaver continue to be a challenging target as they usually don't have a whole lot of themselves that is exposed.

Same here, first trip spent 46 days in the hospital, 15 of them in ICU! 5 years and two op's later hopefully have mine under control. Feel great, most of the time.

Cooked in a slow cooker they taste just like a beef roast. We shredded and added bbq sauce.

There is. Was supposed to do some range work today and a cold front is moving through with some nasty winds. ERRRRR!!!! Looks like Hornady SST until this weekend.
