Caught this one out in the edge of a peanut field. Before I could get to a good spot to shoot, he came out of the field and was headed straight toward the way my scent was blowing. I wound up just outside the landowners yard before I could make the shot. When I did get to shoot, the dog was so close that he was already out of focus in the scope. He had just winded me and was wheeling to get out of dodge. Either the landowners hearing is worse than mine or he's gotten accustomed to hearing me shoot.
