I have never seen this before and was quite surprised when it happened. After recovery of the hog, it was apparent that the amazing terminal outcome was due, in part, to Ben already having hit the hog before the mighty Grendel (SST bullets) did what it did.

The first and last hunts of the night were on the same property that currently had no livestock on it at the time and we had free range over about 1200 acres of hills, valleys, pastures, and woods.

This video is safe enough for YouTube standards, but maybe not for small children.

As near as we could piece together, no pun intended, one of Ben's shots opened up a hole just below the rib cage. That hole was pointed skyward. The Grendel bullet came in (not sure exactly where in all the mess and we didn't look too closely for it) and pressurized the abdomen, ejecting 2-3 feet of small intestine, contents, and connective tissue through the hole
