I was down in Florida this past Feb. and shot 11 hogs with a total of 15 shots using 129gr Interlocks that I reloaded for the purpose. All hogs shot were Dead in their tracks! I would not hesitate to shoot this load again and will be back at my friends ranch shooting this load next year!

(My misses were runners that I didn't lead enough)
Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.
I don't think you understand, these boys killed my dog!
Taking the gun off safe increases the velocity by 100%

The 123s work great with my grendels , I run a max load of H335 at 28.7gr you should start with a lower load and work up a load . The 129s are a great deer round .

You have multiple issues going on in your choices. Both bullets are fine for hunting. SST and Interlocks are built differently with different goals in mind (see link). Then you have the weight difference. You are going to get more velocity and a flatter trajectory from the SST than the Interlock.

For a load with the 123 grain SST many find a load with CFE223 or LeveRevolution from 30.0 to around 31.0 grains. H4895 and IMR 8208XBR are popular for better temperature stabile powders. Sierra list a max charge of 27.1 with 123 grain SMK and H4895. Sierra list a max charge of 27.5 grains IMR8208XBR with the 123 grain SMK.

They must be getting TSS and SST mixed up.

I just read three articles on that outsidetimes website and I have to say I have never read anything that contained so many inaccuracies. Wish there was a way to contact the author to plead with them to STOP WRITING.
