While checking the pastures last night on my 4 Wheeler, I had stopped to just pan around a bit. I saw two "figures" cross under the fence and meander around through the brush/weeds. I thought they were does at first due to them being immersed in the weeds most of the time. Then, when they started walking towards be it was obvious it was coyotes. They came to a hundred yards or less before they paid any attention to me sitting there with the 4 wheeler idling. One alerted, and soon as he turned broadside I "whopped" him. I barked and whistled and squeaked at the runner, but never got a clear shot. I was glad to see that my rifle/scope were still "on", got him right where I was aiming with the rifle resting on the handlebars. I took some pics with my lil' cheap flip phone, but they didn't turn out well. One is good enough to see that it is a coyote
