Back at it With the Grendel (Hogs)

    Man, I'm slipping.

It has been a while since I posted anything regarding shooting hogs with my Grendel. Got back into it about two weeks ago, and haven't been on here to share my results.

Speaking of those results; the 100gr TTSX on a small sample size of four hogs has been extremely impressive to me...so far.

Thanks for the videos and wisdom. The 100gr. TTSX look promising. My grendel has the Larue trigger and sports the 16' Wilson Combat barrel. I think yours is fine looking piece of machinery!

At some point in the future Ill be reloading Grendel. Probably this winter after a Michigan hunt with an Army buddy.

Thank you. It seems like you have great taste in Grendel components if I must say so myself ????.

My sample size is four hogs so far, so I certainly can't speak with authority yet on the overall effectiveness of the 100gr TTSX. I will try a couple of spine shots, and maybe another "traditional" shot or two with the remainder of the bullets that I have on hand.

Thank you. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Perhaps the TTSX works better with higher velocities (duh), so you might need to push your load as close to max as possible if you're going to hunt at any distance.

Liked the videos. I may have missed it, but what velocity were you pushing those TTSXs to?

Great videos. Looks like the 100gr TTSX is performing well for you.

If you get a chance, try the Maker 85gr and 95gr bullets.

Havent used ttsx in grendel yet, but 150 gr in my 308 is devastating on deer and elk.

                          Great vids!
Speed is Fine, Accuracy is final....but accurate hits at extremely high speed is final much faster.
I don't think you understand, these boys killed my dog!
Taking the gun off safe increases the velocity by 100%
